Streamline Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a leading company in the manufacturing and trading sector. Our client has grown significantly and now operates multiple sites across the UK and internationally.

Our client is seeking a skilled IT Support Technician to join their internal IT team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing the company’s IT systems, providing technical support to staff, and ensuring smooth IT operations across various locations. This role is crucial for supporting the company’s technology infrastructure and contributing to its operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Internal Support: Provide technical support to staff, addressing and resolving issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity.
• System Management: Install, configure, and maintain IT systems and equipment to ensure they operate efficiently and meet company standards.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical problems quickly using remote tools and on-site support as needed.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed records of support requests, system configurations, and inventory for accurate tracking and reporting.
• Security: Implement and monitor cybersecurity measures to protect company data and IT infrastructure.
• Collaboration: Work with the IT team to enhance IT processes, support projects, and improve system performance.
• Training: Provide training and guidance to staff on IT best practices, software applications, and security protocols.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Proven experience in an IT support role, ideally within a similar internal IT environment.
• Technical Skills: Strong understanding of operating systems (Windows, macOS), networking principles, and common IT hardware and software.
• Certifications: Relevant IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), or equivalent are advantageous.

Monday - Friday 40 hrs

£25K + Benefits.
