Job Description: Export and Import Planners

Location: Purfleet Distribution Hub

Position: Export and Import Planner

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM. Occasional Saturdays with the option to work from home.

Salary: Flexible, based on experience.

About the Role:

We are seeking meticulous and motivated Export and Import Planners to join our dynamic distribution hub based in Purfleet. The successful candidates will be responsible for planning both Full Truck Loads (FTL) and Full Container Loads (FCL), ensuring the smooth and efficient transportation of goods.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and coordinate export and import shipments for FTL and FCL.
• Ensure timely and accurate documentation for all shipments.
• Liaise with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and customers to ensure efficient transport.
• Monitor and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery.
• Resolve any issues or delays that arise during the shipping process.
• Collaborate with internal departments to streamline logistics operations.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of import/export regulations and compliance requirements.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in freight forwarding is preferred but not essential. Full training will be provided.
• Excellent organizational and planning skills.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in using logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
